Carla Gavin Satnick, the Executive Director of Worldbridge Language Services has over 20 years experience in various areas of intercultural communication, including more than 8 years as Director of Education for a private language school. In that capacity, she developed and implemented all phases of an intensive English program for foreign students. In addition to curricular duties, Carla managed the translation service for the school and translated Spanish and Italian documents. Carla has a B.A. in Communication Studies and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. Carla teaches UCLA courses in communication, culture and applied linguistics and trains teachers to teach English as a foreign/second language. Carla has co-authored a book on Japanese-American intercultural communication.

Richard Satnick, Ph.D., the Executive Vice President of Worldbridge Language Services, has over 25 years of experience as a consultant to major market research companies. Richard has a B.A. in Psychology, an M.S. in Education and Psychology and a Ph.D. in Psychology and Technology. Richard has taught graduate and undergraduate mass communication research courses at the USC Annenberg School For Communication. Course content includes questionnaire design, content analysis, data analysis, and the interpretation and presentation of research findings.

Most of the translators used by Worldbridge Language Services are native speakers of their respective languages. They are educated in both their native countries and in the United States (university and graduate level work). In addition to translating from English into their native languages, our translators have also reviewed other translators’ documents for consistency, accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
